Micro chipping
adoption dogs

Some of you may have noticed
the price to adopt an animal has increased. The
reason for the increase is the animals that are
adopted from the Humane Society are now receiving
Micro chips. If they are lost they can be identified
easier. We insert the chip but it is up to the new
owners to register the animals. We put all the
information from the tags in our records so we can
find the owners easily. Owners also receive a yellow
tag that alerts animal control officers that
the animal has a chip. In addition, the new owners
will receive an ID tag from the shelter, a spay or
neuter coupon, rabies coupon, booster shot, wormer
for round and hook worms, and a pet friendly starter
kit.
